Thursday 18 June, 2020
An early start today to transfer to the airport for our flight to Puerto Iguazu. On arrival we’ll transfer to the Panoramic Grand (or similar) for the next two nights. This afternoon is free to take in views of Iguazu from our hotel or explore the town at leisure. (B)
Friday 19 June, 2020
After breakfast we’ll depart on a full day tour of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, located inside the Iguazu National Park and declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984. The tour commences with a train trip to Estacion Cateratas for the best views of the Falls. Included is a jeep safari that takes us to our boat trip into the plume of the Falls. (B)

Today we cross the border into Brazil for a ½ day coach and walking tour for a panoramic view of all 275 cascades. Return to Puerto Iguazu airport for our flight back to Buenos Aires and our Argenta Towers base (or similar) for the next three nights. (B)

An early breakfast before our ferry across Rio de La Plata, one of the widest estuaries in the world, to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. A walking tour lets us explore the cobblestone streets and colonial architecture of this lovely preserved World Heritage site before an evening return ferry. (B)
Monday 22 June, 2020 – Australia vs. Bolivia
The next match is again at Estadio la Plata in Buenos Aires. Pre-match drinks and snacks before our match transfer. (B)

After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airport for our flight to El Calafate (commonly referred to as Patagonia), where we’ll spend the next two nights at Mirador Del Lago (or similar) located right opposite Lake Argentino. (B)

Today we’ll depart on a full day tour of Perito Moreno Glacier, one of Argentina’s most impressive destinations. Descending into the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, this World Heritage Site is an imposing ice river 5km wide and up to 60 metres high with a depth of 350 metres. Explore the walkways that follow the glacier’s western wall and awesome views of this natural wonder. (B)

Friday 26 June, 2020 – Australia vs. Argentina
Today is the big one ! How will our Socceroos fare against the host nation and six-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi? The imposing Estadio Alberto J Armando fortress (commonly known as La Bombonera) and passionate Albicelestes supporters will be a highlight for all of us. Perhaps pre-match drinks to settle the nerves? (B)
After the match we transfer back to the hotel, collect our bags and go straight to the airport for our flights back to Australia. For those continuing with the post tour module, or wishing to extend, enjoy another night in Buenos Aires.

The advertised price is in Australian dollars. No surcharges in regard to cost or currency fluctuations will be made once deposit is received. This guarantee excludes fuel surcharges and does not apply to any taxes, charges or levies imposed by any government or its agencies. No discounts are applicable. Price includes transport, entrance fees as per itinerary, plus services of a Travel Director and meals as specified and is subject to minimum numbers being met.
Booking, deposit & final payment:
A deposit of $1,000pp is due upon booking and a further $2,000pp by 31st January 2020 with final balance by 31st March 2020. All payments are non-refundable.

All payments are non-refundable.

A minimum number of passengers (12) are required to operate this tour. Should minimum passenger numbers not be met we will review the operation of this tour, and additional costs may apply.

Passports & Visas:
Your current Australian passport must have 6 months validity from your date of return – tourist visas aren`t required for Argentina, Brazil or Uruguay. If you are holding the passport of another nationality please advise.

No inoculations are compulsory but we suggest you talk to your local health professional for independent advice.
