Morning departure from Sydney with Virgin to Perth, then connecting with Air Mauritius, arriving late afternoon local time. We will be transferred to our 4 star hotel Trou Aux Biche, our home for 9 nights. Included in our tour package are breakfasts and dinner daily (choice of resort restaurants)

Free day to settle in, relax and soak up the local island life style. Perhaps you’ll want to explore
nearby Grand Baie, a lively  village with bars, cafes and shops.

Today you’ll be transferred to Casela Nature Park where you’ll have the opportunity for close-up interaction with lions, cheetah, rhinos, deer, antelopes & zebras in a savannah like setting. Also in the park, set amongst tropical flora, are ninety aviaries hosting some 1500 birds & mammals.

You may want to enjoy one of the many optional tour activities available. The Heritage Tour unveils
the history of Mauritius whilst the Chamarel Ultimate Discovery Tour explores the Ebony Forest, views the Chamarel Waterfall and the 7-coloured Earth, visits the Rhumerie de Chamarel and Curious Corner Chamarel and plus includes a nice restaurant lunch.

Consider a visit to the quaint & friendly capital, Port Louis (pop 150,000). The Central Markets are a “must do” as Mauritians from all over the country delight in shopping here for fresh produce and seafood. The Caudan Waterfront nearby is the touristy area to buy locally made gifts.

The Mauritius Turf Club will transfer us to Champ de Mars race track for International Jockeys’ Day where we will be hosted in the Crown Lodge Private Steward Suite, located on the VIP balcony next to the MTC President’s Lodge. Drinks and finger food are included throughout the day – an excellent days racing is assured

A chance to unwind after your big day at the races and relax around the pool, or perhaps some last minute souvenir shopping is on the agenda.

Late afternoon transfer to the airport for our evening Air Mauritius flight departure.

Morning arrival in Perth to connect with our Virgin flight. Late afternoon arrival in Sydney.
